HSM3 Slumber Party

My middle child, Em has been wanting to see High School Musical 3 since we heard that they were going to have one. I promised her that I would take her opening night. (My kids get to choose one movie a year to see on opening night) Em and Cherry'swas HSM3. She came up with the idea to have a slumber party after the show. She wanted to invite some of her HSM friends to see the movie with her. Well, her dad and I agreed that we would let her do that but she could only invite 3 friends. (Movie tickets are not cheap you know) So after the movie, her friends came home with us. They were up til 3:00am. We had snacks and decaffienated drinks (I don't think that helped). They sang and danced most of the night away. Of course, to fall asleep, I let them watch the other HSM movies. They were quite so I went upstairs to bed. Well, when my hubby came in from work at 1:30 am, they were still awake. He went to bed and heard them a few minutes later. He stumbled down stairs and sat in a chair waiting for them to go to sleep. Sure enough, they did. But boy, my kids were sooooo tired the next day.

We will never forget that night. We definitely made a memory. Which is a big saying around my family. When we are doing something special, we always whisper to each other "We're making memories".

I hope you all get a chance to see it. It was good but not one of my favorites. I liked HSM I better.

Looks and sounds like they had a GREAT time. Emily would have been all up in that. We saw the movie last night. We loved it. I'm sad this is the last one myself.
