My middle child, Em has been wanting to see High School Musical 3 since we heard that they were going to have one. I promised her that I would take her opening night. (My kids get to choose one movie a year to see on opening night) Em and Cherry'swas HSM3. She came up with the idea to have a slumber party after the show. She wanted to invite some of her HSM friends to see the movie with her. Well, her dad and I agreed that we would let her do that but she could only invite 3 friends. (Movie tickets are not cheap you know) So after the movie, her friends came home with u
s. They were up til 3:00am. We had snacks and decaffienated drinks (I don't think that helped). They sang and danced most of the night away. Of course, to fall asleep, I let them watch the other HSM movies. They were quite so I went upstairs to bed. Well, when my hubby came in from work at 1:30 am, they were still awake. He went to bed and heard them a few minutes later. He stumbled down stairs and sat in a chair waiting for them to go to sleep. Sure enough, they did. But boy, my kids were sooooo tired the next day.We will never forget that night. We definitely made a memory. Which is a big saying around my family. When w
e are doing something special, we always whisper to each other "We're making memories".

Looks and sounds like they had a GREAT time. Emily would have been all up in that. We saw the movie last night. We loved it. I'm sad this is the last one myself.
